Who is FETCHER?
The Origins
FETCHER is a four piece Dream-Punk band from Baltimore, Maryland. Formed in late 2017 when childhood best friends, Louey Peraza and Jason Jones got together to start writing. They recorded a demo EP that same year and started playing live.
They released their first real EP, Growing Pains, in 2019 and then underwent some line up changes before having to take a break from gigging due to the pandemic. With new members, Anthony Alletag on bass and Jake Beyer on drums, they kept writing and rehearsing, coming out of lockdown with a hunger to play live and a handful of new songs ready to test out.
Between residency gigs at DC9, first shows in New York City, and wining battle of the bands at the Palace in Philly, they spent the rest of 2021 and most of 2022 playing around the DMV and getting more intimately involved in the local DIY scenes of those cities. By winter of 2022 they began tracking new material and in September of 2023 released a self produced LP titled "So Long Small World". They continued to play shows around the DMV building their following (and bank account) eventually saving enough to go on their first east coast tour in September of 2024.
They began 2025 with a short tour going south to Georgia and back and are currently in the studio working on new music.
